From the beginning
Captivated with the sky
Its ever-changing canvas
Of blues and grays, creams and whites

Gaze out your window
Don’t dread the storms
Hear the roars of thunder
A wind of dissent, but a path to heaven

The ferocity, the burst of energy
A presence you can sense
A silence you feel alive
Life is only beginning

With every passing storm
He is your guiding light
Stronger than any earthly force
A force greater than you

The clouds sweep
The leaves quiver
The rain sweetens
The snowflakes dance
I, am just beginning
