i've just added a MAKEPOVERTYHISTORY white band on this blog.
And it's symbolic of my current geographical position - Melbourne.

I'm doing a postgrad dip in journalism at RMIT University, and it has been simultaneously exciting and unnerving. And, get this, one of my assignments requires me to interview a major bigwig candidiate for the Victorian federal election! *help*
Okay, don't worry about me. I'll stick it out and see what happens. Oh yeah, do buy a White Band - wear it around your wrist, wrap it around your dog's collar. Believe in eradicating extreme poverty.
And believe in me too, will you? I want to kick ass in my writing, I want to soak up everything there is to offer, and I want to stay in this country.
