I tear
when i see people hugging one another. when husbands hug their wives. when boyfriends hug their girls. they put their arms around shoulders, waists, backs, necks. they envelope each other wholly. no inch of space between bodies. a skin-to-skin, heart-to-heart hug. I tear because i feel hugged too even though there is no one beside me. |
