Aloof, aloft, apart from sin of a beast,
Between parted thighs one would feast.
Through musk and mush; seditious beauty,
Forsaken heaven and gone to carnal duty.

this will be a post of indignance, a post of sadness.

i sat in the darkness and cried for a good while. i ask and expect too much, only because i give too much.

i got snubbed by the one, and someone else whom i've never even met is rooting for me.

i can't sing like a black because i'm yellow, i can't talk like an american because i'm in bloody singapore.
who will decide my worth? am i worth more than just a piece of skin and an accent?

the world i live in is a broken down world, it's not a silver spoon, it's not even a bronze plate. it's made up of nickels and coppers. i fight for what i want, i step out to go-get, i pick up the pieces as best as i can. I struggle -monetarily, socially, accentedly. But still, i rise above the others. i will, one day.

i've progressed from an almost-suicide case to what i am now, alive and kicking. i dun need stones, I need God, I need a broad shoulder and a broad heart, in more ways than one.
