my tooth dream

My dream last night was unnerving. I dreamt about my 3rd molar being so shaky that it was going to fall out any moment. I kept pushing it against my gums in a feeble attempt to 'plant' it back into my jaw. At the same time, the setting where i was fumbling with my tooth was in a downgraded, dim, dusty 3-room flat that forced me to compromise my personal space by sharing a tiny room with my pesky younger brother. We had to sleep on a double-decker bed, and the room was so cramped that i had to put my PC on the lower deck of the bed, taking up my leg space when i sleep (or rather, squirm uncomfortably in a lying position).

WTF does that dream mean? I tried to look online, and these interpretations are what i got:
Dreaming about teeth is very common in all cultures and age groups. Most dreams about teeth leave people feeling uneasy and anxious. Consider the overall content and context of the dream and note if you are having dental problems before making interpretations.

One theory is that dreams about your teeth reflect your anxiety about your appearance and how others perceive you. Sadly, we live in a world where good looks are valued highly and your teeth play an important role in conveying that image. Teeth are used in the game of flirtations, whether it be a dazzling and gleaming smile or affectionate necking. These dreams may stem from a fear of your sexual impotence or the consequences of getting old. Teeth are an important feature of our attractiveness and presentation to others. Everybody worries about how they appear to others.

Animals use their teeth for defense and show their teeth when angry. Teeth are also used to bite, tear, chew and gnaw. In this regard, teeth usually symbolizes power. And the loss of teeth in your dream may be from a sense of powerlessness. Look and see if you are losing or abusing power in any area of your life. Perhaps you are having difficulties expressing yourself or getting your point across. You feel frustrated when your voice is not being heard. You may be experiencing feelings of inferiority and a lack of self-confidence in some situations. There is a fear of being embarrassed or making a fool of yourself. These dreams are an over-exaggeration of your worries and anxiety, but are an indication that you need to be more assertive and believe in the value of your own opinion.

Another rationalization for these falling teeth dream may be that if you dream of your teeth, it symbolizes money. This is based on the old tooth fairy story. If you lose a tooth and leave it under the pillow, a tooth fairy would bring you money. Old interpretations say that dreaming about teeth falling out is a bad omen that suggest financial difficulties.

In the Greek culture, when you dream about loose or missing teeth, it indicates that a family member or close friend is very sick or even near death. It shows that you are afraid of losing someone dear to you.
According to the Chinese, there is a saying that your teeth will fall out if you are telling lies. Your lies are hurting someone very badly and that you will soon be found out.

A scriptural interpretation for bad or falling teeth indicate that you are putting your faith, trust, and beliefs in what man thinks rather than in the word of God. The bible says that God speaks once, yea twice in a dream or a vision in order to hide pride from us, to keep us back from the pit, to open our ears (spiritually) and to instruct and correct us.

Oh dear, most of it seems true. I think my whole mouth of crowded teeth will not be enough to cope with the falling-outs.
