colour of the week

This week's colour award goes to BLACK. Congratulations to BLACK! Some fantastic work with the little black book and the ultimate black dress for centuries has finally paid off. BLACK has helped to make the sky a relaxing and beautiful view to lift your head 45 degrees to. Despite mass attacks of 'rainbowisation' in the developed world of fashion, BLACK has carried on bravely.

I noticed, for the whole of this week, I have been donning BLACK everyday! It was a subconscious decision every morning as i gaze into the inner depths of my wardrobe and blinded by eye-squeezing yawns, pick out my outfit for the day.

Black cotton racerback tank, black satin three-quarter pants, black long-sleeved embellished top, black polyester fluffed-up top, black leather pointy flats, black bullet belt, black beaded necklace, black bone bracelet, black mascara (not forgetting black eyerings).

My blog is BLACK for your viewing pleasure. The years Before Colour (BC), people and objects existed in just Black and White, and maybe Grey too. These 'colours' have been making a lot of noise as they disagree with their non-inclusion into the colour family - on the technicality that they are a 'shade'.

Black isn't black; it is just a really dark white. Or is it?
