dayang, dayang sampan
I'm off to Pulau Dayang for scuba diving in 10 hours' time! It's been over a year since getting certified as an advanced open water diver in 2004, and I haven't had the opportunity to do much diving the past year. So this dive trip over the coming weekend is eagerly anticipated!
All's done: renewed my passport, packed my wetsuit, bikinis and high heels (haha)! I hope to conquer my fear of night dives by the end of this year.
Pulau Dayang is part of the Johor Marine Park together with Pulau Aur and Pulau Pemanggil. It is located about 67 km off the coast of Mersing on southeast Peninsular Malaysia. It is separated from Pulau Aur by the narrow Dayang channel.
Here's where i'm going in case you miss me terribly and can stare at the map to pray for me and wonder if i'm frolicking with mermaids and manta rays :)
